It’s really easy to develop Javascript or Flash applications that can control or interact with the YouTube player, or even completely reskin the interface. This video walks you through the basics of the YouTube API.

The video has 3 main parts: html/javascript API, Flash API and the Chromeless Player (an swf without buttons). This allows you to use custom layout controls for your website.

Battle in Krugerpark

A battle in the Krugerparkt with lions, crocodiles and a herd of buffalo.

Someone took this footage with his camera and put it on youtube.
Now he has some great response from National Geographic:

We’re going back to Africa with the National Geographic Channel to work on a special that will air later this year and will give the behind-the-scenes story on how we got this amazing footage.
